These mechanical malfunctions have already resulted in a loss of approximately 40 championship points, placing him eighth in the standings, 65 points behind current leader Jorge Martin. Bagnaia emphasizes that the core issue is the bike's rear grip deficiency, which severely restricts his ability to corner effectively and accelerate powerfully. This problem is exacerbated by the Ducati team's reliance on the rear tire to compensate for front-end limitations, leading to increased tire degradation.
