Situated across twelve hectares of ancient cork-oak terrain near the captivating Atlantic coastline of Portugal, the development comprises eight new residences alongside a thoughtfully integrated existing farmhouse. This arrangement forms a dispersed cluster, intentionally diverging from the standardized patterns of conventional housing developments. The design philosophy conceptualizes the site as a 'domestic archipelago,' where individual architectural entities are intrinsically linked by the pervasive landscape, rather than by a uniform architectural style. Instead of a repetitive series of villas or a rigid street plan, Apaulinha cultivates a collection of bespoke homes, each sculpted by its precise location, orientation, and symbiotic relationship with the undulating natural topography.
