Community Initiatives to Enhance Child Safety in Clay County

Instructions

In an effort to raise awareness about child safety, the Florida Department of Health in Clay County is organizing two significant events titled 'Protect Our Children' as part of a broader initiative during the month dedicated to preventing vehicular heatstroke tragedies. These gatherings aim to educate families on crucial safety measures and provide practical resources for safeguarding their children.

Participants at these events can expect a variety of offerings designed to enhance child safety. Services such as complimentary vehicle seat inspections, proper fittings for bike helmets, and access to valuable educational materials will be available. The first gathering is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, followed by a second event on Saturday, April 12. Both occasions will take place from 9 am until noon at the Clay County Health Department location.

By promoting safety practices and providing essential tools, these initiatives reflect a community's commitment to fostering a secure environment for its youngest members. Such efforts not only highlight the importance of vigilance but also underscore the collective responsibility to protect children through education and resource-sharing.
