FreightWaves Today: Revolutionizing Supply Chain Insights

Instructions

For many years, the financial world has relied on live television programs to deliver real-time market analysis and expert discussions, a consistent morning ritual for Wall Street professionals. However, the crucial supply chain and logistics industry has lacked a comparable dedicated platform—until now.

FreightWaves is set to debut "FreightWaves Today" on June 1st. This daily live broadcast promises to be an indispensable resource, serving as the industry's premier hub for crucial market intelligence, up-to-the-minute data, and candid conversations with leading executives. Airing every weekday at 12:00 PM ET, the program is specifically tailored to address the current dynamic landscape, characterized by tariff volatility, fluctuating capacities, rapid technological shifts, and policy uncertainties that are continually reshaping global trade. The industry desperately needs a unified, authoritative channel where key decision-makers can converge and share insights.

"FreightWaves Today" will be co-hosted by Craig Fuller, Founder and CEO of FreightWaves, and Julie Van De Kamp, CMO & COO of SONAR. They will be joined by daily expert contributors from the freight market, Zach Strickland and Malcolm Harris. The show integrates SONAR's real-time data with incisive analysis and direct access to the executives driving major decisions within logistics. Unlike conventional panel discussions that merely recount past events, "FreightWaves Today" is designed to be a dynamic, data-driven experience, focusing on the individuals actively managing the supply chains that underpin the global economy.

The initial week of guests underscores the high-caliber nature of "FreightWaves Today." Leaders such as Shelley Simpson, President and CEO of J.B. Hunt, and Eugene Seroka, Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles, are scheduled to appear. They will be joined by other prominent figures including Webb Estes (President & COO, Estes Express Lines), Tom Madine (CEO, WWEX Group), Aaron Graft (Founder, Vice Chairman and CEO, Triumph Financial), Geoff Anderman (CEO, STG Logistics), Michael Caney (CCO, Highway), and Sushanth Raman (CEO, Pallet). These esteemed guests represent a broad spectrum of the industry, encompassing major publicly traded trucking firms, the nation’s busiest port, significant brokerage and 3PL operations, freight finance, and cutting-edge technology platforms. This diverse array of carriers, port authorities, brokers, asset owners, and innovators will all appear on the same platform, discussing their on-the-ground observations and strategic preparations for future developments. For too long, vital supply chain intelligence has been fragmented across various trade publications, intermittent podcasts, LinkedIn commentary, and rapid social media discussions. There has been no central forum where the industry's leaders could gather daily to hear directly from decision-makers. "FreightWaves Today" aims to bridge this gap, providing an unprecedented level of access that was previously only available through costly conference passes or extensive personal C-suite networks. Now, this valuable insight will be accessible every weekday at noon.

FreightWaves plans to broadcast over 140 episodes through the end of 2026. The show will be live-streamed across FreightWaves' YouTube channel, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, as well as on tv.freightwaves.com/today. Full episodes will also be available on-demand via tv.freightwaves.com/today and on popular podcast platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The supply chain is a critical intersection of domestic economic activity, geopolitics, and international trade. In such a volatile and dynamic environment, the industry requires a consistent, clear signal to cut through the surrounding noise. Starting June 1, that signal will arrive every day at noon ET. "FreightWaves Today" is poised to become the indispensable daily program the supply chain industry has eagerly awaited, providing clarity and guidance in an increasingly complex world.
