Both Nicaragua and the Solomon Islands are recognized participants in China's expansive Belt and Road Initiative, a framework designed to improve infrastructure, trade, investment, and overall connectivity among collaborating economies.
With the inclusion of these two countries, the total number of nations and territories offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to Hong Kong SAR passport holders has now reached 178.
