A cherished member of the Joppa community, Brenda Sue Jones Bonds, has left behind a legacy of love and passion. At the age of 64, her life will be honored with a funeral service scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Steve Rodgers will lead the ceremony, which will be preceded by a gathering of family and friends from noon until the start of the service. Through these moments, the community comes together to celebrate her vibrant spirit.
Brenda's life was filled with unique interests that defined her personality. Born on June 8, 1960, she found joy in exploring auctions and thrift stores, seeking treasures that sparked her curiosity. Beyond this, she had a deep appreciation for wrestling, a hobby that brought her immense pleasure. Despite losing loved ones such as her parents, son Billy Ray Martin, sisters Wanda, Francis, and Helen, and fiancé Richard Millwood, Brenda remained resilient and continued to inspire those around her.
Her memory lives on through her surviving family members, including her daughter Melissa Fulenwider, brother Ricky Jones, sister Shirley Burch, grandchildren James Ray Martin, Brittany Martin, Anna Chambers, Dakota Holladay, and Jordan Fulenwider, as well as great-grandchildren Liam Chambers and Hudson Chambers. This extensive network of nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends serves as a testament to her impact on countless lives. In honoring Brenda, we not only remember her passions but also the strength she embodied throughout her journey, reminding us all of the importance of cherishing every moment with our loved ones.
