The Earn While You Learn - Animal Science Apprenticeship Program will provide an overview of the Penn State Extension Animal Science Apprenticeship Program (ASAP). The program is designed for high school graduates (18 years or older) who are looking to enter the workforce, or adults of any age who are looking to make a career change into animal husbandry. If you are interested in working with animals and developing the skills to create a fulfilling career in the animal science industry, this may be the opportunity you are looking for.

Program apprentices will be employed full-time by a partnering employer. In addition to an hourly wage, participants will receive 147 hours of industry-specific training and quarterly pay increases during the first year. (https://tinyurl.com/3je2wbhr)
