The company has announced a shift from the previous limited-period ordering scheme to a continuous build-to-order model. This means that, starting December 1, 2026, orders for the lens will be accepted at any time, moving away from the restrictive windows of the past. Sigma has conveyed its apologies for any prior inconvenience and requested patience as they prepare to implement this new system.
The company projects that shipments under this new continuous ordering system will begin the month following its launch. Orders will be fulfilled sequentially, ensuring a fair, first-come, first-served basis.
